Easy Valentine Activities to do with Kids

I never liked Valentine’s Day until I had kids and decided to make it just a fun holiday all about love! Loving our family, friends and the special people in our life and celebrating it with fun decor and treats! So here are some fun and Easy Valentine Activities to do with Kids! The kids love that they can help do all of these and they are simple to make and make it super fun!

Heart Animals

Ever since my daughter was a toddler we have been making heart animals. They are super cute and a fun easy valentine activity we can do together! Also helps work on their fine motor skills too! We just use card stock or construction paper and then all you need is a glue stick and some scissors! We google or look on Pinterest for inspiration and let them pick what they want to make. I usually save them and display several of them each year on our pantry door, which makes for fun decorations too!

Another fun tradition we started when she was just 18 months old was making chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s. Its an easy thing they can help do just dipping the fruit in the chocolate and makes for a fun gift for Dad as well! We added in marshmallows and bananas last year since my son Baylor isn’t a strawberry fan. And we topped them with sprinkles for added festiveness.

Kids Treats

When my daughter was little I burned the steak dinner I was planning and we ordered pizza…thus the Valentine pizza tradition was born! I added a little flair and cut some pre-made crust into hearts and made these little heart pizza’s this time. You could also involve the kids in this & they could help add the toppings. You can also order heart shaped pizzas on Valentine’s usually, we have ordered from Papa John’s in the past. Here’s a link to their heart shaped pizza info.

Hope these Fun and Easy Valentine’s Activities with Kids were super helpful! Tag me on social media if you try any of these or would love to hear your fun traditions!
