Top 5 Nail Health Tips

Beauty Tip of the Week! The weather outside is frightful…making your hands dry and cracked! Since being in the nail business for over six years, I’ve learned some vital things about nail health! So here are my top 5 Nail Health Tips to keep your hands and nails healthy and hydrated!

Tip #1: Hydrate! Drink lots of water, that helps your body overall but also your skin and your nails too!

Tip #2: Cuticle care: Keep your cuticles soft and not cracked and also push them back before any nail polish application. Also use a serum or oil regularly! This Dew the Night serum floods dry and cracked cuticles and fragile nails with intense hydration and nutrients while you sleep! Also recommend using this instant cuticle remover once a month!

Tip #3: Don’t peel your polish! Use a proper remover! For DIY press ons and LED gels, I love the Kleo Kolor easy oil based remover! Gently and easily removes them with no damage! If you’re using regular polish, use a non-acetone remover as acetone can damage your nails, mineral fusion is my favorite one.

Tip #4: Your nail are your jewels, not your tools! Use scissors or tools to open things, wear cleaning gloves when cleaning, work or garden gloves when doing yard work to protect your nails and hands to prevent breaking and cracking.

Tip #5: Keep those hands and nails hydrated! This hydrating nail serum not only hydrates, but strengthens and seals in moisture! Lightweight and fast drying too!

Hope these Top 5 Nail Health tips help keep your hands and nails healthy! Always here to help with any of your beauty needs!
